Term 4, 2024 Enrolments Now Open

The Cammeray Hot Shots program is designed to have kids rapidly progress with key skills, so they can learn to love the sport of tennis from a young age. 

The program uses smaller courts, lighter racquets, and low compression tennis balls, making learning tennis fun, safe and easier for kids. 

A free trial is available for those booking with us for the first time. We look forward to seeing you all! 

Developed by coaching professionals, this program is Tennis Australia's official kids starter program. 

Run by our qualified coaches, you can be sure your child is gaining confidence and physical skills, while making new friends. 

• Racquet - if you don't have one, no worries, we can provide them. 
• Sports shoes.
• Hat. 
• Water bottle.
• Afternoon tea. 

Sunscreen is always provided here, and we encourage all children to stay sun smart no matter the weather or season. 

If your child attends Anzac Park Public School, Cammeray Public School, or North Sydney Demonstration School, we have an after school pick up service available on the following days - 

ANZAC PARK PS PICK UP: School pick up available on all days, meeting point is in front of school office.

CAMMERAY PS PICK UP: School pick up available on MON, WED and FRI with meeting point in front of canteen.

NORTH SYDNEY DEM PICK UP: School pick up available on MON, TUE and FRI with meeting point outside McHatton building/gate. Only limited spots available, so first 11 children booked will secure their spot.

Our coaches will come and collect your child at the designated meeting point at their school, and bring them directly to our tennis courts. 

Our program develops kids mentally, and physically. A child's early years are when fine motor skills are developed, and tennis is amazing for developing coordination, speed, strength and agility.

By reducing the size of the tennis court, children are able to develop more realistic footwork patterns, better technique and experience the fun of rallies, making learning tennis more enjoyable and more achievable. 

The learning through play philosophy encourages kids to have fun, gain tactical skills in tennis, improve motor skills and social skills. Children progress through four stages - Blue, Red, Orange and Green - as their abilities improve. 

At Cammeray Hot Shots, we understand that every young tennis player has unique abilities.

By invitation only, TalentID offers advanced training to further nurture and challenge young players exhibiting exceptional ability. Our expert coaches monitor every child's progress to identify suitability for this program.

This program is currently offered on Tuesday after school, and Friday mornings 7:30am to 9am. If your child attends Anzac Park Public School or Cammeray Public School, we will drop them off at school on Friday morning once the program is finished, making sure they arrive at school safe and on time.
