At Cammeray Hot Shots we offer a great way for kids to learn tennis in a fun, challenging environment. We provide a variety of sessions, including Before and After School Programs, Holiday Programs and thrilling Hot Shots Tournaments.
Our dedicated Hot Shots team and Tennis Australia certified coaches are committed to enhancing every child’s physical skills, introducing different techniques, boosting confidence, fostering teamwork and instilling a lifelong love of tennis.
We focus on ensuring that each child can participate at their own pace, while actively enjoying every moment.
Children are introduced to tennis by initially playing on scaled-down courts with modified equipment designed to maximise their progression.
We provide lighter racquets, lower nets, and low-compression tennis balls that are easier to hit as well as safer.
By reducing the size of the tennis court, children are able to develop more realistic footwork patterns, better technique and experience the fun of rallies, making learning tennis more enjoyable and more achievable.
Our programs cater to both the physical and mental development of children. A child’s early years are when fine motor skills are developed, and tennis is amazing for developing coordination, speed, strength, and agility. For older children our Orange & Green squads are an excellent way to refine skills, technique and fitness.
Through team play and individual challenges, kids develop social and problem-solving skills. They also learn valuable lessons in sportsmanship, handling victories and defeats with grace and respect.
