Hot Shots After School Program

Enrolments for Term 3, 2022 now open.

The Cammeray Hot Shots program is designed to have kids rapidly progress with key skills, so they can learn to love the sport of tennis from a young age. 

The program uses smaller courts, lighter racquets, and low compression tennis balls, making learning tennis fun, safe and easier for kids. 

Developed by coaching professionals, this program is Tennis Australia's official kids starter program. 

Run by our qualified coaches, you can be sure your child is gaining confidence and physical skills, while making new friends. 

Our program develops kids mentally, and physically. A child's early years are when fine motor skills are developed, and tennis is amazing for developing coordination, speed, strength and agility.

By reducing the size of the tennis court, children are able to develop more realistic footwork patterns, better technique and experience the fun of rallies, making learning tennis more enjoyable and more achievable. 

The learning through play philosophy encourages kids to have fun, gain tactical skills in tennis, improve motor skills and social skills. Children progress through four stages - Blue, Red, Orange and Green - as their abilities improve. 

If your child attends Anzac Park Public School or Cammeray Public School, we have an after school pick up service available on the days which your child is enrolled in our after school program. 

Our coaches will come and collect your child at the designated meeting point at their school, and bring them directly to the tennis courts. 

If your child attends Anzac Park Public School or Cammeray Public School and is enrolled in one of our morning programs, we will drop them off at school once the program is finished, making sure they arrive at school safe and on time.
